Jeff Baker joined Schechter Benefits Group as an Account Director in 2005. His focus is on developing group benefit programs to help control health care costs for potential and present clients while exceeding client expectations. Mr. Baker brings more than 30 years of sales and management experience along with a background as an Agent Relations Manager for the largest managing agency of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
In his spare time, Mr. Baker partakes in many community service functions and is involved in several non-profit organizations. Mr. Baker received his B.A. from Western Michigan University.

Clune Walsh has 25+ years of experience working with and advising high net worth individuals’ family offices, business owners, corporations, attorneys, CPAs, and money managers to find the right solutions to achieve financial objectives such as wealth accumulation, tax and estate planning, wealth transfer strategies and charitable giving. Clune works with prominent families in Detroit, Harbor Springs, New York and the Palm Beach areas.
Prior to joining Schechter, Clune was in a similar role as a partner at Walsh Financial Group where he advised his clients regarding estate planning, wealth transfer, corporately-owned life insurance and non-qualified executive programs. Walsh Financial is a member of M Financial Group, a network of 140 independent financial services organizations.
Clune started his career at The Equitable in Chicago, IL, where he was a National Account Representative of Group Operations. During his time there, Clune oversaw all facets of life insurance processes, including underwriting and rate analysis for large group policies. He also managed large case installations and handled the accounts of various clients such as Miller Brewing and Interco.
Clune resides in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. In the summer, he spends time with his three kids, Sloane, Clare and Clune, IV in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Clune is a competitive sailor, where he has logged over 10,000 open ocean racing miles, and participates in grand prix racing events internationally.

Kevin Beauchamp is responsible for creating and supporting strategic relationships for Schechter Wealth. He works with professionals such as financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys and money managers who play an important role in their client’s financial planning activities and frequently rely on Schechter to provide sophisticated insurance and investment advisory services. Many of these professionals are comfortable and motivated by the opportunity Kevin presents to broaden their business through our revenue sharing partnerships.
Prior to joining Schechter Wealth, Kevin worked as an external wholesaler with the boutique, Boston-based firm Eaton Vance. He specialized in meeting the income needs of his clients and introducing investments to help preserve and grow wealth in the ever changing financial markets. Kevin also worked with JP Morgan as an investment advisor.
Kevin lives in Oakland, MI with his wife, Erika, and their three daughters. He enjoys being active, playing golf, and attending sporting events.

As the Vice President of Advanced Design, Jordan Smith works with our advisors and their clients in the design and implementation of advanced strategies. He provides an important legal perspective to strategies that involve estate planning, taxation issues, trust design and the preservation and transfer of wealth.
Jordan is an attorney with a great deal of experience in tax and estate planning for high net-worth individuals. Specifically, helping clients transfer wealth through annuity arbitrage, premium finance, sale of remainder interests, and life settlements, just to name a few.
Before joining Schechter Wealth and since 2007, Jordan had his own law practice and was also the owner and founder of Insurable Interests LLC, an insurance agency and advisory firm. Prior to that, he was an equity partner at the law firm of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss
Jordan received both his Bachelor’s degree and J.D. from University of Michigan. He received his L.L.M. in taxation from NYU. Jordan and his wife, Karen, have four children.
Ilana Liss is instrumental in the development, presentation and execution of our custom solutions. Her extensive knowledge and skill has earned the respect of clients and helped forge strong relationships with them. She provides counseling and concierge service for our clients throughout the Solution Design process, and she communicates regularly with clients and their advisors throughout the strategy development and execution process. Ilana also directs the underwriting and customer service staff which makes her responsible for our complete client experience.
Prior to joining our firm, Ilana worked as a client service advisor at a hedge fund located in Chicago, Illinois. She is a graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Aaron Hodari, CFP, CIMA, is a Managing Director of Schechter. Aaron Hodari works with high net worth individuals, families, business owners, and their advisors to bring them institutional quality investment management and advanced financial planning solutions. Aaron heads the firm’s branch of Private Capital, including deal sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring, and market opportunity identification. He’s also instrumental in the development of correlated and non-correlated investment alternatives, helping identify investment allocations, and manager selection. He is a sought-after speaker regarding the tax advantages for hedge funds within Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) and Private Placement Variable Annuity (PPVA).
Prior to joining Schechter, Aaron worked at BlackRock Financial Management, New York, NY in the Institutional Account Management group where he managed relationships with institutional investors including pension funds, foundations & endowments, and family offices. While there, he specialized in customized fixed-income solutions, commodities, and hedge funds.
Aaron graduated from the University of Michigan, where he majored in economics and played lacrosse. He currently sits on the schools Dean’s Young Alumni Council and he is a member of the CAIS Advisory Council.
Brad Feldman joined Schechter as a Wealth Advisor in 2007. He came to the firm after working as real estate and corporate litigator at Jackier Gould, PC in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and as Vice President of TRG Capital Group, LLC in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he began his career as a financial advisor.
Brad Feldman works with high net worth families in the areas of wealth accumulation and preservation, wealth transfer, estate planning, and charitable giving strategies. He also works with closely held businesses on their succession planning and deferred compensation programs, as well as their group health and retirement benefits. He has been a frequent author and lecturer on a variety of industry-related topics.
Brad holds a JD from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, a CLU from The American College, and a BA from the University of Michigan. He plays an active role in the community, serving as a board member and on the events committee for Kids Kicking Cancer, the Advancement Committee for Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit, and on the Events Committee and Planned Giving Committee of ORT America. He is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan.
Brad resides in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife, Melissa, and their children, Emily, Allison, Robert, Max, and Talia. He enjoys playing golf, running and weightlifting.
